Reliable Online Resources
Almost all students use the Internet to get information and to help them complete their homework. Often students use a search engine to locate information, but do not evaluate the source of that information or its accuracy. Research Databases, collections of organized information specifically designed for research, are more reliable online resources. Some Research Databases are similar to an encyclopedia, while others are collections of newspaper, magazine, and journal articles.
To access any Research Databases from home you will need the username and password. This information is located on the first page of the student planner and on handouts provided to students in class. If you have any difficulty please see Ms. Gallaway for assistance.
